Zach and Heather's Birthdays
We spent Saturday in Estes Park with my folks and celebrated birthdays for Heather and Zach. It was a great day at the mini-amusement park there. The kids loved the bungee trampoline, go-carts, bumper boats and water balloon launchers. Zach tried to blow out his candles and ended up spitting all over his cake. Thankfully, no one but Heather and I noticed (sorry Mike and Amber if you're reading this now). He was so excited for his cake that he basically plowed his face into his piece. Not sure why, since he's more than competent with silverware.

I like these windows into Dawsons Brain. What's your assessment of the Rockies failure to hold up against Boston? People around here say too many off-days before the start of the Series. I'm thinking it's more like the drought -- it just happens sometimes, and there isn't an identifiable culprit.
