My First Wedding!

Well, I finally got to shoot some shots during an actual wedding. There were two professionals shooting along with an assistant, so I had to pick my spots without blocking the pros. I'm pretty happy with the shots I took. Here are a few that I particularly enjoyed. The setting was beautiful and the weather cooperated nicely.

Both wedding parties looked great, but Tami stole the show (as she should have). It was really fun to get to shoot people who looked their absolute best. The photographers were all set up at the bottom of the staircase when the bride walked down. I thought it would be better to take some reaction shots of Steve since I would have had a crummy angle for the bride. I'm happy I did since Steve's reaction to his bride was priceless. I love the picture of him wiping his eyes as all eyes were on the bride's entrance.

My daughter, Leah, was the flower girl and looked radiant. My nephew, Dawson, was the ringbearer. I love any chance I get to shoot them and this day was too perfect. They both looked great and the compliments rained down on them throughout the day.

Finally, my cousin's daughter, Lucy, wowed the crowd with her Flamenco. She's almost seven and danced wonderfully. She spun and stomped like she invented the dance. Len Goodman gave her a 9.

AWESOME!!! Great perspective and priceless pics. Love the shots of the chairs and the groom. Way to go. Your cousin is lucky for many reasons. I think next time you should be the professional photographer. Leah is PRECIOUS!!! You should be very proud.
